Purpose:

Synthesis method:
1, Castor oil hydrogenation : 12-hydroxy-stearic acid can be obtained by hydrogenation of castor oil at 185℃ and 5MPa in the presence of nickel-aluminum catalyst. 12-hydroxystearic acid can be obtained by saponification and acidolysis of the reaction products.
